Poll-Racism Is A Major Factor Keeping Obama From Winning Big

TransGriot Note: One of my commenters disagreed with my observation in a recent post that some racist whites could possibly deny Obama the shot at the White House he deserved as the more qualified person to run this country.

Well here's the evidence to back up what I stated and already know - 10-15% of the white electorate will not vote for an African-American no matter how qualified they are because of racist assumptions about African-Americans they still hold.

And that 10-15% figure is the folks who admitted it.

This is news? Hardly, it's a rather visible and present thing for whites to say amongst ourselves and not own to. The rate of ownership in the poll (15%) is actually very surprising to me. I'd say the real figure of whites who feel this way is something on the order of 30%-45%.

The results of this poll are no surprise to me at all. It is a really depressing thing to know that this country will more than likely be stuck with another republican idiot in the white house because of other people's racist garbage.

this is why we need to stand our ground and fight back . and how do we fight back you ask . by getting every one you know to vote even if it means

driveing them to the poles your self .as that will be the best way to fight back . and put garbage in it,s proper place

it would not surprize me at all lisa if they was  and that is soo true . sigh but maybe one day they will wake up and  come to that understanding

and relize there mistakes . yes i know its a lot to ask for but at lest we can hope right???
