By day, Wilson is a fundraising and development consultant serving
not-for-profit organizations. She has a BS in Journalism from Temple
University and an MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel
University. As a Queercents contributor, Wilson writes in a practical,
hands-on way intended to help the transgender community navigate the
complex world of transitioning and acclimate to a financial life in a
