There are dark clouds on the horizon of the battleground state of Florida. New laws and tales of voter suppression efforts already have many voters nervous and confused. Florida, which was recently named "the most hostile state in the nation to new voters" by three national voting-rights groups, has significantly tightened voter identification laws and made it easier for voter's rights to be challenged.

Makes a comeback? The buzzards have been at it since 1998 and actuallu have won two national elections with this type of "if you can't win it, steal it" sort of tactics.

That Florida and Ohio and Michigan have been subject to repeated and horrific con-games like this is no surprise at all. Check electoral votes and check % of polls for each candidate. Even a few will help if they can once more keep people of color, and disgruntled former workers away from the polls.

It's a "keep home the vote" campaign. For them it generally is if it ain't KS,, KY (doncha love the abbreviation?) :) UT, TN, NC, MO and OK.

I read that one trick is to insist upon an address of a voter, and if they don't have one because a storm destroyed their residence, then they are turned away.

Sometimes I mindlessly write a letter to my reps. Then I send a copy to all the top republicans.  Maybe I'll write one asking if we still have laws governing elections.

I just do it to be a jerk.  I'm sure their unpaid minions don't even allow the messages to get through.  They always send a 'thank you' note, though.

My, how polite (considering they are stinking fascist swine).

The congress critter never sees them, but they do keep running total of how many came on on what positions.

Wicker does not even do that.

you should get a hundred people to write letters complaining about no 'thank you' notes.
