Hello everyone!

I'm new here. My long time e-friend polymorph recently posted a picture of her progress (and has been a true inspiration to me) and now that I've just finished school and don't have to worry about posting pictures of my true self, I decided to do the same. :)

The to-do-list:
Lose weight.
Start HRT.
Straighten hair.
Dye hair.

I can't do most of those things just yet because my Mum won't let me be myself in her house, but I'm soon moving to my Dad's house where I think things will be better.

EDIT: Does anyone know a way to get rid of hair frizziness and make it appear more straight without the use of of a high straighener? I brush it heaps and that's as best as I can get it.

Looking good! How about you try hair products to try and straighten it?? I would secretly buy straighteners!

Thanks!

What hair products do you suggest? I really have no idea.

I'd buy a straightener but they cost sooooo much. :(

Straighteners are okay, but it really depends. You can get really cheap ones, like $20 cheap, but you do get what you pay for. I got some for about $80 and had to have them on the highest setting, plus my hair is like a seperate entity and it took ages to straighten... and then I would have to dodge rain like a vampire dodges holy water otherwise it would revert back to being frizzy and horrible.

There are procedures available that straighten hair for a few months at a time without resorting to straighteners, but they're only available at salons, as far as I know, and are probably not going to be cheap.

If you want to tame frizz a good serum will work fine. Either a shine serum or one directly for frizzy hair like frizz-ease. Its like a thick oil. A little pea sized shape into the hand spread evenly into damp or dry hair will work lovely. Itll also seal your ends so is really good for keeping damaged hair from further damage! :)
