My Debate Party and the Catholic Priest

One of my boyfriend's closest friends, Joe, has been dating a Catholic priest. He met him through a personals ad on Craigslist a couple of months ago.

Joe is a physician. He's 50, doesn't date much, and has some self-esteem issues related to his appearance. Normally, I would be thrilled to see him find a man. He would be quite a catch. He's intelligent, kind, and generous.

When Joe told us that he is seeing a priest, I advised him that it isn't a good idea. I've had friends in the past who have dated Catholic priests and it has never turned out well. I explained that I believe there is nothing worse than dating a man who is both gay and guilty.

You know, it is really sad that we have such problems to deal with in our lives. We are born into the society first and taught to fit in the round hole.

Breaking the rules of the religion can break your will to live.  It is truly sad to see these kinds of stories.
