TOP MODEL Contestant is Transgender - Yuck!

The fact that this transgender contestant made it onto the show isn't
just another example of enforced political correctness (although I'm
sure that played into the decision to allow this guy on the show - we
wouldn't want to get sued, now would we?). It's more than that. It's
more of the gay community's in-your-face campaign to be accepted as
normal, underwritten in this case, by the CW Network, even while it
could have been any major American TV or cable/satellite network.
It's bad enough that the homosexual agenda is pushed on us at every
turn. Does that now have to include transgenders, too?

Zoe Brain has waded in and managed to score some points.  The blog owner is conceding some but still vehemently denying most.  Others are weighing in on both sides and from the middle.

Go and add your weight to the topic.  Post that you're transgender!  Just that!  Add your voice!

The blogger's is a bitch! I've heard of trolls posting comments, but never posting a blog entry.

I went over and (politely and respectfully, I thought) shared some of my perspective. Today, I see that Charlotte has deleted the entire blog entry. I don't know why I bothered to respond. I had other things I needed to do, but I took an hour out of my day and carefully crafted an extensive, neutral, non-vitriolic response.

I would have been interested to see her response to my comments. One of my main concerns is that SHE seems to think that SHE is the one who gets to decide who is transsexual. And I also find it annoying that she seems to confuse sex and gender, or not recognize the difference between the two. She seems to think that sex rules all and that gender is of no account. Et cetera.

I can understand that she would delete nasty comments, but she should have kept the blog entry and the reasoned comments.

She asks to be educated, and then she ignores what other people tell her. No amount of educating seems to help her out with respect to the issues that I mentioned above.

I'm hanging up my cleats.
