A month-long series of award-winning films about faith and the gay, lesbian, bisexual community is set to begin Sunday afternoon, hosted by four local churches. All are members of the Community of Welcoming Congregations in Oregon and southern Washington.

The Oregon State University Pride Center also will host a film as part of the series.

The films and their locations are as follows:

• "For the Bible Tells Me So" — 5 p.m. Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2945 N.W. Circle Blvd. Five Christian American families share how they handled the realization of having a gay child.
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde
