Job searching is a job in itself! To get the job that's perfect for you, you don't only need to know how to do the job. You also need to know how to get the job.
This workshop will cover various effective job search techniques and provide ready-to-use tools for planning for and tracking job opportunities, leads, and networking contacts. It will also address specific concerns that may come up for members of the transgender community, such as or when to disclose that you have a previous name, and deciding whether/how you want to be out at work. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a practical job search action plan incorporating different methods. (Open to all members of the transgender community.
