"Relationality" and Living Into Ourselves

A few months ago I was asked by someone just beginning the journey toward what, at the time, she believed to be her transition whether or not hormone replacement therapy would make her feel better. No one can tell anyone that.  She was concerned that she wasn't convinced that she should really do so. I'm a huge believer in trusting one's own intuition, trusting what one knows and feels about herself.

This person was, is, perhaps, a happy cross-dresser who in reading the writings and postings of others who had decided to attempt this huge step called transition had decided, against her internal feeling to make an attempt to transition. The person had, for years, simply enjoyed donning the outfit (note that word: out-fit as opposed to in-fit) generally described as female clothing and would dress at home or on weekends.
