We all know vests are very sexy. ;D

But what about heavy vests, the kind you wear to stay warm.

My binding doesn't do an amazing job, but s'aiight for homemade. And I need a new heavy jacket or something since it's getting cold around here. I already have a heavy jacket, and I know that jackets are a "safe" item in regards to passing, since they're really androgynous, even with fur hoods. But I wanna mix up my wardrobe and I've found a couple designs that are pretty cool. Vests are generally an androgynous item. But it might be a problem since zipping vests up might just enhance my chest. And not zipping it up probably defeats the point of it keeping me warm.

Yes, I know, I can just go try it on, and that it depends on the fit of the vest. But I'd rather save myself a trip, if anyone has experience with vests.

i tried on a puff vest and tet said i wasn't even allowed to zip it up because it made me look like a man-hating angry dyke. that's my experience with those warm vests. I like dress vests tho :O

I figured as much. Alas, I shall go and try it on anyways and hope for a miracle. It's sexy.

I live in a warm climate :-\ sorry I can't help bro. If I was up north I'd be all over things like that though. Beanies, though I wear them, are still way too effing hot for down here, I sweat a killer amount. I'd die in a vest.

Dono.  It gets cold here but never cared much for vests.  Always thought looked dorky no offense.  I tend to wear hoodies usually a size larger than need.
Every day we pass people, do we see them or the mask they wear?
If you live under a mask long enough, does it eventually break or wear down?  Does it become part you?  Maybe alone, they are truly themselves?  Or maybe they have forgotten or buried themselves so long, they forget they are not a mask?

I really like that. But to be honest I have worn one and do look like a dyke :(

No, not yet. :-/ My glasses broke and those have been put on priority, but I hope to try/buy the vest within a few weeks. I will update!

I think it depends on how well your binding works. If it works well enough, maybe you'll just look like you have pecs. Depends on how the vest fits on you and stuff like that though, so it's different for everyone. Usually to make my chest seem less obvious (I don't bind at all right now), I zip about half way up. Might not keep you completely warm though.
