We all remember the Terri Schiavo case, where Republicans in Florida and Congress proved they care nothing about family values, the sanctity of marriage, the rule of law or the right to privacy.  Many of the same people are promoting the so-called "marriage protection" amendment in Florida.  Terri's husband rightfully takes aim at the hypocrisy:

The great people over at Progress Florida have just released an internet ad of Michael Schiavo, the husband of Terri Schiavo, urging voters to vote NO on Florida's Amendment 2, the so-called "marriage protection" amendment. Michael Schiavo knows better than most what happens when our private lives become fodder for political battles. He sees dangerous things in Amendment 2 and he's speaking out.
