The Conflict of Disinterest

When Julie Bindel was nominated for the Journalist of the Year Award
by Stonewall, there was a storm of protest from the transgender and
transsexual communities. This is hardly surprising when in the past
Bindel wrote literary "masterpieces" with titles like "Gender Benders
Beware". As always I have produced my gut reaction. And as is often
the case, a few friends of mine have contacted me explaining the
positive and negatives sides to Julie Bindel. And yes I am at the
stage again where I have to sit down and try to explain clearly what
my objections to Bindel actually are.
