An interesting perspective on gender from a tribe in Indonesia.  They believe in 5 genders: male, female, female-ish male, male-ish female, and a "spirit" gender (for lack of a better English term).  To clarify, "Sex" is purely biological, "Gender" is psychological and often culturally-defined.

I'm particularly interested in knowing more about the "spirit" gender, but female-ish would certainly do  ;D
