With the news that sports reporter Christine Daniels has gone back to being Mike Penner, there has been some discussion in the trans blogosphere about de-transitioning. Only Penner and perhaps those close to him know why he decided to undo his transition. There are many reasons that someone might make such a choice—employment difficulties, being socially ostracized, bad reaction to hormones, and just plain it wasn't right in the first place.
