My job sometimes requires me to travel several times a year, and of course, I took advantage of it.
Most of the clothing that I packed was Linsey's, the rest was the minimal work attire for her SO.
The trip was nearly 300 miles, I checked in to my motel and headed for the location.
6 hours later we were done for the day, thankfully we were all in separate motels.

So back at the room, I unpacked my clothes and laid everything out on the bed.
After a hot shower, a very close shave and lots of body powder, I got dressed.
Those are my favorite moments, when I'm putting on all of those nice garments.
Everything feels so cool and smooth, and it only gets better.

I sit in front of the well lighted mirrors and do my make up. I'll admit that I do the eyebrow
lift, which for me, makes a major difference in the way my face appears, my eyes are more
almond shaped as a result.
A pullover knit blouse and new Wrangler jeans looks nice.
After I secure my hairpiece, I always flip all that long brunette hair back from my face,
in a sort of a "hello there Linsey" way.
I bought some nice and comfy heeled sandals, so I remain less than 6' tall!

Well by this time my belly is sounding it's need for sustenance, so I gather up my few items,
clutch purse, cash, license, and head out the door into the fading twilight.
For some reason, I felt so liberated on this particular trip. I've finally convinced myself that
I'm in control always. And I'm no longer feeling guilty of anything. I feel really good now.
I walk past people, I watch how dad watches me from behind his wife and kids.
And those moments are just that...moments. I just keep on going, on my way to
my favorite little resturaunt for dinner and perhaps a little conversation.

All of my senses are awake, my long hair brushes at my neck and shoulder's, my curvy
figure moves in all the right way's as I casually walk to my car.

Linsey,
I travel a few times a year also.  It is a lot of fun to get dressed and explore a new town!!!
If I have been there a few times, then I usually have a few friends I can contact ad enjoy tdinner with.
Check out the local T support groups....  They usually have a girl or 2 willing to join you for the evening and they know all the neat places to go.

I also travel a lot. But during the trip, I usually have to attend a kind of formal meeting or conference. Usually, I wear feminine but rather androgynous clothes. While in the train, I wear lipstick, but remove it before attending a meeting.

My male colleagues sometimes accompany me during the trip. When they know who I am, I sometimes wear fully feminine clothes. Usually they are willing to take photos for me.

During trip abroad, I sometimes walk alone in the street. I tend to be always cautious in choosing my clothes. If the safety looks fine in that city, I wear fully. In other cases, I miniminze wearing of too bold fashion items.

The photo in my avatar was taken by my GG frined when I visited Seattle. It was safe place.

#6
For the last several years, I have been going out solo.
I had 2-3 friends that I would meet up with and go out.
One was a very statuesque blonde GG that helped me a lot
with make up, clothing, behavoir, and the rest.
She introduced me to other CD's, we went out to dinner, parties,or
just for long drives.

Well, eventually, everyone moved on, I think that one sister was
outed and given the quit dressing or the "I'll leave" ultimatum from her SO.
But as for the rest, I have no clue.

I do a regular gig out of town several times a year. But I have not attempted
to get in touch with any sisters there, as Lisa Elizabeth had suggested.
I will not go into a CD friendly club alone, I'd much rather have a friend with me.
Even then, I always end up with several guys/girls wanting to dance or talk.

It was those times that really convinced me that I was reasonably passable and
attractive! Inside, I was always sure that everyone was going to laugh at me,
expose me, and all that.
But it never happened, and those were the best times ever!

Perhaps someday I will find some new CD friends, but in the meantime I'll continue
with my travels, visiting, dining, shopping.

I no longer am concerned about what people are thinking or saying.

I'm having a good time!
