Lots of Prop 8 action

The activism and peaceful protests are continuing in response to the mob rule that occurred on Tuesday -- fellow California citizens, many of them professed people of faith -- determined the civil rights of gays and lesbians at the ballot box.

* Hillcrest in San Diego will be the site of demonstrations against the H8 amendment tonight and Saturday. Friday evening (Nov 7) at 9PM community activists are urged to meet at Laurel & Sixth, then the group will walk to City Hall. Also, on Saturday (Nov
at noon, gather at First & University in Hillcrest and march to 30th & University in North Park. I wonder if James Hartline will show up.
* In Chicago there will be a demonstration on Saturday to protest Prop 8 leader James Dobson's visit to receive his Museum of Broadcasting award. Focus on the Family gave $800,000 to bankroll Prop 8.
