The Celtic Goddess Test at HelloQuizzy

You should worship Rhiannon, the Welsh Queen, Goddess of healing and dreams, horses and the moon. Her child was stolen from her at birth and she was blamed for his death and sentenced to act as a horse carrying guests on her back. Her son was returned to her after 7 tears and she was vindicated. She had 3 birds of healing. She is often worshiped at the Autumn Equinox. Her colors are yellow and white. Stevie Nicks sings an awsome song for her!

You should worship Cerridwen. The great Welsh Mother/Crone. Goddess of Wisdom, Knoweledge and Inspiration. Her sacred animal is the sow and she is associated with the moon, expecially the dark moon. The cauldron is her tool. She is a shapechanger and mother of poets. You can worship her at the dark moon or on Samhain/Halloween.

You should worship Aine. She was the Irish Faerie Queen of the Midsummer sun. She is the faerie of love and herbal healing. Her colors are red and white and her scent is Meadosweet.  She is full of enchantment and you can honor her by dancing in nature.

Nichole, I got Rhiannon too. Great spirits blossom alike...

Rhiannon
Actually it was a Fleetwood Mac song, written by Stevie Nicks with help from Lyndsey just before they joined the group, there is debate as to whether it is about the goddess or not, not that I'm not a fan or anything.

QuoteNicks discovered Rhiannon through a novel called Triad, by Mary Leader. The novel is about a woman named Branwen, who is possessed by another woman named Rhiannon. There is mention of the Welsh myth of Rhiannon in the novel, but the characters in the novel bear little resemblance to their mythological namesakes.

After writing the song, Nicks learned that Rhiannon was a Welsh goddess, and was amazed that the haunting song lyrics applied to the Welsh Rhiannon as well. Nicks researched the Mabinogion story and began work on a Rhiannon project, unsure of whether it would become a movie, a musical, a cartoon, or a ballet. There are several "Rhiannon Songs" from this unfinished project including "Stay Away" and "Maker of Birds". Nicks wrote the Fleetwood Mac song "Angel" based on the Rhiannon story.

Nicks avoided wearing black clothing for "about two years" in an effort to distance herself from the witchcraft and dark arts associations surrounding her as a result of the lyrics to "Rhiannon" giving fans the wrong impression.

The last article on Wikipedia you referenced is already gone (odd), but also, I have seen statements going both directions. Though that is the most complete explanation I have seen thus far (not that I spent hours researching it)

You should worship Brigid! She is the Irish tripple goddess of poetry, healing, and smithcraft. Ask her for inspiration! Light a candle to her on her holiday of Imbolc (Candlemas) on Feb 2nd. Her colors are red and white. Her sacred animal is the lamb.

Tailtiu

You scored 21 Tailtiu, 13 Brigid, 8 Aine, 1 Macha, 21 Rhiannon, and 2 Cerridwen!

You should worship Tailtiu [said TELL-tay] - the Irish goddess of the land. Foster mother to the Sun God Lugh. She sacrificed her life, dying, clearing the fields of Ireland so that the new crops could grow. Lught dedicated funeral games in her honor and you can still celebrate her at Lughnasad on August 2nd.

Very interesting.  I worship Brigid more than Cerridwen, but she is one of my goddesses of choice for my favorite season, autumn.
