automatic notifications?

A weird thing is happening. I'm receiving notifications for everything I've replied to this morning, however I didn't sign up to watch any of these topics. I'm assuming this is a glitch? Should I unsub from these topics, or wait for a fix?

Go into your profile, into your notification settings, and uncheck the box next to the option marked 'Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.'

See if that helps. :)
