You scored 9 in Malice and 25 in Chaos!

Japanese dragons, or "Ryu," are very different from their Western counterparts; where the Western dragon is typically reptilian, with a heart as cold as its blood, the dragons of the Orient actually tend to err more on the side of beneficence. This should not, however, be construed as a license to treat them with disrespect; Oriental dragons are extremely powerful beings who do not tolerate impudence.

Ryu, like the dragons of the West, are known to have a fondness for shiny objects and treasure. Some Ryu are willing to part with their treasures if they deem a mortal worthy of inheriting it. Other dragons may also, like gods, grant wishes and supernatural powers to those who seek them.

At the same time, one must be wary when dealing with dragons; some may be extremely temperamental, and others even harbor a hatred for mankind and its desecration of the earth. Most dragons are by no means evil, but must still be treated with extreme caution.

Kappa

You scored 15 in Malice and 19 in Chaos!

A Kappa is a "suijin," or water demon of Shinto mythology. They may be found in or near large bodies of fresh water, e.g. lakes, rivers, and streams, where they live and hunt. Kappa look like a human/turtle hybrid; they have a small depression on top of their heads which holds a strange liquid substance which, by all accounts, appears to sustain the life force of the Kappa.

These demons are parasites and carnivores, preferring to feast on the flesh of humans whenever possible, pulling them into the water and sucking the internal organs through the anus, although they may also drink the blood of other animals in times of deprivation. Kappa also seem to enjoy cucumbers and eggplants.

Although Kappa prey on humans, they are also notoriously polite; one may hope to escape a Kappa by bowing to it, whereupon the Kappa may return the bow, only to spill the liquid atop its head, which leaves it enervated and lethargic for the rest of the day. Kappa are not necessarily evil, like many demons; they are simply predators, nothing better, nothing worse. If one is brave enough, one may even approach a Kappa for healing or teaching; it is not altogether uncommon for a Kappa to resist its appetite and choose instead to assist a human.

Tengu
You scored 10 in Malice and 23 in Chaos!

Tengu are birdlike demons which inhabit the woodlands and mountains. They come in two classes: Higher tengu and lower tengu. Higher tengu occupy their own kingdoms which mirror those of humans; they dress in fancy clothes, beautiful silks, and wear jewelry and crowns. Lower tengu are little more than bird/human hybrids who flit from tree to tree and serve the higher tengu. Both higher and lower tengu have red faces and long noses.

Tengu are very mischievous creatures who love to torment humans-- not out of cruelty, but because they find practical jokes amusing. They often interrupt those who take their work seriously in media res by swooping down and hanging their 'victims' on tree limbs by their pants. They have a very strange sense of humor. At times, however, they can overstep the boundaries of good taste and cause genuine harm, as in cases where they kidnap and traumatize children.

Tengu are also fierce warriors and highly skilled archers and hunters; they will gladly take any worthy humans as disciples and train them to be good rulers and soldiers. They will also teach supernatural arts to priests, although at a cost; those who use these newly acquired supernatural powers for their own benefit become tengu themselves.

LOL, divine demon-slaying spatula indeed. ;D

Mukade

You scored 19 in Malice and 15 in Chaos!

Not an ordinary arthropod, the Mukade, or demon centipede, is a grotesquely oversized monstrocity which preys on unsuspecting humans who travel too close to its lair. Minimally intelligent, the centipede knows only to devour any living thing unlucky enough to trespass its domain, human or demon. The centipede is several times larger than a man, and can only be killed with blessed artifacts or divine intervention.

This demon certainly has no other goal than to cause harm to those who cross it, but is little more evil than its smaller counterpart; like most demons, some are capable of taking the form of a human, but most prefer to simply live the life of a predator-- albeit on a somewhat larger scale.

Every day we pass people, do we see them or the mask they wear?
If you live under a mask long enough, does it eventually break or wear down?  Does it become part you?  Maybe alone, they are truly themselves?  Or maybe they have forgotten or buried themselves so long, they forget they are not a mask?

Yuurei
You scored 15 in Malice and 22 in Chaos!

The Yuurei are the lost souls of those whose lives were abruptly ended in the midst of great distress or emotion. They are pale, white spectres nearly indistinguishable from humans, except that they possess no legs, indicative of their detachment from the earthly world. Yuurei haunt the place of their deaths, waiting for the opportunity to fulfil some incomplete purpose.

Yuurei are more commonly female than male, victims of male cruelty or neglect. Those who become Yuurei typically die violent deaths, whether by suicide or by murder; they become trapped on earth until they have taken care of unfinished business. Male Yuurei are less common, although a slain warrior may become one in order to set the record straight regarding the manner of his death, i.e. to clear his name from disgrace.

Although most Yuurei are relatively harmless, some may become "Obake-Yuurei," or monster ghosts. Obake-Yuurei, instead of restricting their passions to reasonable limits, are wont to loose their rage and sorrow on any people who happen to be unlucky enough to pass by.
Damnit, I wanted to be a Tengu. *sits cross-legged on the floor and pouts *

Jyorougumo

The Jyorougumo, or "Spider demon," is a demon of the class "Henge," or shape-shifting demons. Jyorougumo is a terrible beast which normally disguises itself as a woman, much like a cat-demon, in order to seduce men and drain the life from them during lovemaking. Unlike the Obakeneko, however, the spider demon is just as comfortable remaining in its true form, residing in caves and dark places where it devours those who pass by. It is also highly selective in its choice of prey; Jyorougumo will not attack those it calculates to be of greater strength than itself, for it is also a cowardly demon. Its most common prey are women, children, and feeble old men.

The Jyorougumo has no other purpose in life but to feed, and takes great pleasure in slowly and agonizingly sucking the life from its victims. It will whisper horrible threats to its prey, hoping to evoke the kind of fear and terror which demons of the underworld thrive on. There is no befriending an Jyorougumo; they have no need for companionship and no respect for bravery or honor. The Jyorougumo is truly a terrible beast.
