Types of treatment??

I am going to see a therapist for the first time and have been wondering what some of these Treatments are?
Cognitive behavioral
Dialectical Behavioral
Realational Cultural
The therapist I am going to uses these and I have no idea what they are? Anyone who has been to a Therapist and knows what these are can you fill me in?

I see that nobody has responded yet. Well, I can't explain these terms, but I went through a situation similar to yours and found Wikipedia to be a good place to start. I can't vouch for its accuracy, so you might do some other Internet searches. After reading a bit, you should start to get some idea of what the terms mean.

This gives good skill sets for managing distress.

Both of these are extremely valuable. I have been through DBT and would like to try CB... uh... Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well (I feel it would reduce the times I need to use the skills of DBT).

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy works on the idea that thoughts can control emotions.  When one experiences uncomfortable feelings such as anxiety or depression, the client is asked to see what thoughts are going through there mind when the emotion occurs.  Once identified a person can redirect their thoughts to something else that is more calming for example.

I used to get very anxious in crowded places, usually subway trains and stations.  The flight or fight response would kick in.  I learned to redirect my thoughts to what lay ahead, to what I would do when I arrived at my destination or remember the first time I took my child on train and what fun it was.  I still don't really like being in crowded situations but I no longer become emotionally elevated over the situation.

Dialectical behavioral therapy is generally used as a treatment for borderline personality disorder.  You can read a rather succinct description at http://www.palace.net/~llama/psych/dbt.html
