So I went and talked to my psych professor today.  (Who by the way has the same first name as me)  She has a phd and has been and RN and clinical psychologist for many years.  I told her about my situation and she did a psych eval on me for my SRS.  She didn't know about me until I told her and I've been in the class for a semester so that is a good thing.  She agrees that I am ready for the surgery and is going to write my letter for me.  With that done I should be able to schedule my SRS soon..   WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Good for you however it seems incredibly unethical for your prof to do this.

Its not unethical.  The requirements state that I have a letter from someone who has played merely an evaluative role for me.  Thats what she did.  End of story.
