Playing with PhotoShop.

I've been off work for about two months now and getting bored watching youtube videos so I started playing with PhotoShop. I made a few avatars just for fun and thought I'd share them. if you like them your welcome to use them. If you think they suck... its ok *sniff* I can take constructive criticism *sniff* 



But you can't have this one, its mine!

Very nice, I find myself having those moments with the Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program) very much like PhotoShop in some way.... it does help past the time.

Nice work Ellieka! I've been meaning to get around to learning PS for sometime now but just never seem to get motivated for it.

I rock at MS Paint though!

Ya know, I have GIMP but it just doesn't do it for me. I run PS 7 through WINE on Ubuntu. I guess I'm just too lazy to mess around with it. I should though 'cause the very large price tag on PhotoShop CS4 is a bit much. could bittorrent it but ... now thats just not nice

as far as work... nothing that was because of me, the company I work for does mostly RV related work so with the RV industry being down right now it kinda put the hurt on us. Not sure how there going to take my transitioning when I go back though...

What's the issue with uTorrent download for private use ... friends get me my "free" software on their trips to Singapore and Hong Kong !  Who privately pays these corporations their silly prices, really ?

For reasons of ease of use and familiarity I use Paintshop pro more than Photoshop, but you're results look cool !

P.S.  RV industry ?

Yup still getting paid, not much but its better then nothing.

As far as getting CS4 via torrent... lol now you don't thing I would admit to that on a public forum now do you? *looks away sheepishly*

RV = Recreational Vehicles. i.e. mobile homes and trailers. Thats about all we have here in northern Indiana (U.S.)

I did IT work before that but after I upgraded the company from an antiquated 56k ISDN to a T1 they decided I wasn't needed anymore. Something about being able to do things from the home office much faster now... go figure huh? The position I was offered at my new job paid more anyway so I took it.

If you're going to "get caught" torrent grabbing, it will be games or very new movies ...

Think software or non-chart music is irrelevant these days. 

Software companies want to propogate their applications to achieve "dominance", and love home users checking out their software, they make their money from commerce and industry, and the more their applications become "standard" through bootleg distribution and home use the more they win ?
