Just saw Pixar's animated movie Wall-E.  I didn't see it in theatres because I didn't like the trailer.  But now that I've seen it, I am amazed at how brilliant this movie is.

Wall-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth Class) is a trash compacting robot left on an abandoned futuristic earth.  He lives a very lonely and melancholic existence, with his only entertainment being a cockroach and a bunch of old movies.  But when a high tech robot arrives with a spaceship, Wall-E realizes that there is more to the universe than compacting trash all day.

This movie is very different from most other Pixar films.  I found much of this movie to be very sad, even though it is filled with humor.  It is a very emotional movie which isn't nearly as lighthearted as many other Pixar films.

I saw it too and I loved the feeling it tried to impart on the viewer.

With the lack of dialogue, it was easier to display robots as beings with feelings.

i saw it at the cinema, because i was bored and there was nothing else on. I really liked it, a dystopian fantasy for children, brilliant.

Yeah, I think kids need a lot more dystopian thought.

I saw it in the theature because I loved the trailer. I saw it alone, and it broke my heart.
