Kim Welter of Equality, Ohio, a Gay and Lesbian Civil Rights Group, also reacted. "For all of those religious, gay and transgender people that are out across Ohio that are looking for a home, the sign that appeared here yesterday is in an indication that this is not the place for them."

But Rev. Allison says that's not the case, and gay and lesbians are welcome at his church if they agree to change their lifestyle.

I can vouch for that too, i kissed lots of girls and really liked it xD

Btw I can never understand why the church is so homophobic, if they cared that much then perhaps they should be looking at their own house first before telling the rest of us how to live.

I find it very condescending and hypocritical.

Hi Jordan hon, I left the church when I was 16 and never felt freer. I can only pray that these church preachers someday will have a ray of light come out of the heavens and target itself as a big white dot of light on their foreheads and truly awaken them to the true reality and grow an open mind to the potentialities in and out of reality and not just live in their own little narrow minds where a gnat would get claustrophobia trying to live there. But it is this type of mentality that will always hold us back from advancing and taking our place in society, unless it is stealth.  Me I just live as me and screw them if the don't like it. "Oooops!" Sorry, I said a bad word. :embarrassed:

Ever since I was little my Grandmother told me I would be a preacher.
It has perpetuated through out my life through my mother.

who just recently I told I was Transsexual.

her reply was that I was being mislead by evil spirits, and that many young men and woman are mislead in this way.

my reply, was are you f**k*ing kidding me, you mean to tell me that Im one of those people who this type of parents.

S**t guess Ill talk to you in 20 years.

I think If I can manage to get my hatred for the bible under control, and re-embrace my theory that god does exist, but the bible is a farce, I might make a decent preacher.....

Plus Preachers get paid loot...

At least the ones Ive seen.

Hi Jordan hon. I beleive you would make a realy good preacher in your own right. Just follow your heart, let your inner-self be your guide. Do what you think is right. I got my own church as I have mentioned here in one of the threads before. My church is nature. My congregation are the denizen that dwell there in. By the way, they use to call me a witch. I will say that there are a lot more open minded people in this day and age then there was in my day. Ok, now me gonna take a powder. Have a wonderful morning

"as long as they change their ways"?? That's like saying they're welcome if they stop being tall. What a moron.

I also can't believe how much mileage Katy Pary has gotten out of that song. It doesn't even say she's gay. ("I hope my bf doesn't mind") She's no different than those little bubblehead girls who kiss in bars just to get attention from men. And yet this clueless pastor is still putting up signs. Maybe he was distracted by the boys' bible school class walking by.

Got to love the shallow upsetting the clueless. What a world.

I think it speaks volumes how churches treat homesexuality differently than other "sins."  It is no worse than any other.  Everyone in the church is a sinner, and continues to sin everyday.  Such hypocrites.
