I know I've heard it somewhere before, that there are gender bending or transgender seeming animals. Anybody have any info on this?

And I'm wondering - would they be accepted as what they behaved as by the rest of the pack or herd, etc?
Would the pack treat them as what role they behaved as or according to genitals or scent?

There are life forms that can physically change their sex.  Some frogs for sure.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Hope these help, all I have. There's the Wiki article on it as well, which is always a good starting point for research:

Unfortunately there is not all that much info There's ALOT of info out there on intersex animals, especially how it relates to pollution and its effect on us. Don't think that's what you're after, but I have some links if you're interested.
