On more than one occasion I have been asked if I'm gay. The questions are almost always posed by people who knew me as "Bill" for all those years before.  No, I am not gay. If I were gay, I would identify as a male and be attracted to gay males. I am a heterosexual: I identify as a woman (I AM a woman) and I am attracted to heterosexual males who see me as a woman.
