"There is a holocaust of transgender women of color. Many of them are prostituting [because they can't get jobs] and are in danger. But when you are African American and transgender, well, you can't get lower than that," she said. "These women are killed out of meanness, hatred.  And all they want is to eat, a place to stay. They put their life on the lines. Everybody should be outraged."
