I've been blogging around the T community for a couple of months now and have "met" some wonderful, interesting people (both T and Non-T).  Over the last little while, I've noticed quite a few having really hard times coping with transitioning and being T.  As someone who transitioned over 10 years ago, I thought I might be able to offer sage advice.  W-R-O-N-G, wrong.

I feel so useless.

There are three main areas which seem to be the source of difficulties.  The effect on spouse and family; the impact on future income; and the inabilty to live our lives without being "read" and feeling like freaks.

Somehow I started thinking I was reading my own bio here.

A blog that is far from "Useless" and may well be taken as a cautionary tail (with a happy ending) to some of us late transitioners "hanging in there" for our family..

I hope I can find the same happiness someday..
