We Brits are used to men dressing up as women at this time of year thanks to our weird, much-loved tradition of pantomime. But this latest piece from the outstanding young American Tarell Alvin McCraney, who last week won the Evening Standard award for most promising playwright, is worlds removed from Ian McKellen cracking
off-colour jokes as Widow Twankey.
