Since the blame-the-black vote re: Prop 8 has been so controversial, you would have thought that the Public Policy Institute of California could see the relevance in putting numbers out there to chew on. We do, however, see stats on the Latino vote, and other groups that actually made a difference in the outcome. (PPIC):

Majorities of Latinos, voters without a college degree, and those age 55 and older also backed the measure, which passed by a 4-point margin (52% yes, 48% no)..........
