Express Our Outrage, Yes. But Let's Do It in a Smart, Strategic Manner

The proposed action is to sign up to anti-gay groups' mailing lists and if you receive requests for donations containing a pre-paid envelope to mail back a box with a brick or bag of dirt in it. (Supposedly the post office will deliver the package although I've seen only one anecdotal confirmation.)
Here is my response to this 'mail a brick' idea:
I too want to make an impact. I'm furious, sad, outraged, and heart-broken in the wake of prop 8's passage.
