It seems drag queens have a love-hate relationship with the holidays.
"There are two settings for Christmas, heartwarming or religious," Jackie Beat said in a phone interview from her home in Los Angeles. "Both are waiting to be taken down a notch."
Ms. Beat's new holiday show, "Drag Nog," celebrates Christmas with raunchy adaptations of musical numbers, including "Here Come the Reindeer Again," based on the Eurythmics' "Here Comes the Rain Again;" "I Want to Buy a Stuffed Animal," a riff on "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails; and "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" sung to the tune of the Eagles' "Hotel California."
