"Love is all you need" (2012)  is a chick flick, no doubt about it.  At the same time it is a film about relationships, families, and the lingering effects of death and disease.

In one sense, it is a romantic comedy; in another sense it is a tragedy.  My wife was crying at the end of the film.  I wouldn't spoil the conclusion here.  Spend a few dollars and see for yourself.

Interestingly, the film as shown in America is half in English, and half in Danish (with subtitles).  It stars former "James Bond" Pierce Brosnan, and the beautiful Trine Dyrholm.  I also enjoyed the performance of Molly Blixt Egelund.  Here is the IMDB plot summary:

A Danish woman, Ida (Trine Dyrholm), who has just finished her cancer treatments, walks in on her suffering husband in bed with his young co-worker. She travels alone to their daughter's wedding, which is to take place in Italy, but meets the father of the groom, Philip (Pierce Brosnan), and immediately makes a bad first impression. At the seaside villa where Philip once lived with his wife, conflicts arise not least between the soon-to-be newlyweds. But first impressions fade, and Ida may find her chance for another life.

The original Danish title translates to, "The Bald Hairdresser."

I rate it a sold 7.5 out of 10
