Ok, a bit of shameless fun for the Holiday Season...

I was looking a a bunch of my old pictures earlier, while
thinking about what I would want to discuss at my first
therapy session in January...

...then it struck me that I it might be fun to put a
group of different looks together in one place. So the
question is...are they all me with 3 different wigs etc. or
are there any photo fakes?....(ie; gloop, cut/paste etc?).

Oooh...I really like the hair in the 5th picture (column 1, row 3).

Just Mandy

Bottom left seems to have a different chin but it may just be the smile. But you look great in all of them.

Amanda

Something sleeps deep within us
hidden and growing until we awaken as ourselves.

Sarah and Amanda...

...Thanks for the replies compliments...! :icon_biggrin:

I'm not going to say more for the moment... :icon_suspicious:

I will say that I had tried something rather silly for one of the shots of me.. :icon_weirdface:

All of the photos look good.  I am jealous.  You look better as a brunette.  Your skin tone works better with the darker hair, in my opinion.  Hope your session goes well.

NicholeW.

Style in pic 6, 9, 11 all in wig 1, by the way they arrive, I think. Plus it's obvious you've lost weight!! And the comment by Louise about the darker hair & complexion is spot-on.

Louise and Nichole..

Thank you for your replies.... :icon_bunch:

..the comments so far have been......interesting.... :icon_eyebrow:

..It's gone midnight over here in the UK, so as I have an early start tomorrow, I'm going to try and get some sleep..

..Maybe I will reveal the answers tomorrow if I get some more feedback...maybe...? :icon_suspicious:

They all look good!

But the ones in col 2, rows 1 & 4 might be photoshopped. Seems like the lighting on your face doesn't quite match the rest of the picture. However, I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said something.

And the one in col 1, row 2 might be a composite as well -- the skin tone on your face doesn't quite match your chest. Although that could also be lighting or makeup. Or you were blushing. :)

I think the 1,3,5,6 wig suits you better with your complexion and everything!

You have to let us know hun.

P.S Looking Good ;)

Hey Sis.

Column One, fifth one down has always been my favorite.

The ones with the longer hair just aren't you.  Too Hookerish.

Phew!...Finally made it back to my computer..

My apology's for not posting my answers earlier, but I've had a manic couple of days (and nights).

Firstly, Janet...it's always nice to know you don't want me to look too "Hookerish"! :icon_biggrin:

OK, they are all me, and although the camera and lighting/flash conditions did vary, there was no cut&paste work. Picture enhancement had to be used on some shots for low light, and there were variations in the resolution.

...but the primary reason for posting them was to show that picking the right "look" can make quite a difference to how passable you look, and I thank you all for the advice you have given.

The pics were as follows... (rows 1 to 6, L=left and R=right)

2005 blonde wig pics 2L, 4R, 5L
2006&7 brunet wig with red/chestnut highlights 2R, 3L, 5R, 6L, 6R
(5R took a bit of contrast boosting because it was dark)
2008 brunette wig 1L, 1R, 3R, 4L

I agree with all of you that I think I suit brunette better than blonde, although I quite like the highlights too.

So overall, I still decided that I'm looking at a sizeable FFS bill if I want to look good for my age, a fair proportion of which would simply be a face-lift, but I have picked up a few tricks in my years of practice.

....and the something silly?....that's 3L...After trying a lip plumping "bee-sting" type product that didn't work, for some reason I tried "stinging" my lips with a plant called a "nettle" here in the UK....really weird sensation, but they did swell-up and that's the result....BUT don't try this at home, because if I had been allergic to them, I could have killed myself ! :eusa_doh:

I like the top two photos in particular. You have soft and gentle features.

Ouch that must of hurt I could never put a nettle to my face I hate the things. Did you use a Dock leaf after you did it.;)

Hi Gennee...

Thank you for the compliment....   :icon_bunch: .....as I said before, I raised this topic as I realised that I might have experimented with different looks more than some of the other girls, and I wanted to demonstrate what could be achieved.

Hi Katherine :icon_wave:

Actually it was weird, because it was more of a numbing tingle than pain, but it certainly plumped my lips. None of the stuff sold "over the counter" did anything for me. I didn't use a dock leaf, if I remember right it was a really hot drink. The effect was fine on the day I did it, but I noticed the local skin condition around my mouth was not so good the next day.
