To the Newbies, Wannabe's, Awakening TS Girls.

Let's re-look at  Hormone Replacement Therapy , aka, HRS.

There are so many variables that can come into play when you go forward with Hormone Replacement Therapy, that  it would be impossible to go into them all on a forum such as this is.

Some people will try all manners of  achieving  a more female appearance with out actually going to a Endocrinologist, qualified gender issues Physician/Therapist or  Gender Dysphoria  handling clinic. This a route that I personally cannot recommend to any of you.  Not under any circumstances whatsoever. The dangers of you actually doing yourself great harm is tremendous, despite what any claims may be made to the contrary.  Sources that come from dangerous Herbal concoctions, Veterinarian supplies, Over /Under the Counter creams, or out of the black markets, more than most likely could be a death sentence or at the very least, cause extreme damage to your internal organs and brain. I am counting on , that you are all aware of this...if not , then please heed this advice.

If anyone should offer you their pills or injections, turn them down flat. Everyone's system is different, and can handle only  levels and combinations that have to be determined by their physician.

This is why, we so often see that one person is given one regime of hormone cocktails, that is completely different from the another's.   It is based on an individual basis. Never on a universal recipe.

Anyone who is to shy, to scared to face, or even afraid of revealing to a professional that they feel they are
Trans Gendered, is not ready to take hormones .  Illegal or other wise in any shape or form...

Over the course of my lifetime, my hormone levels have been adjusted or changed all together at times.  I always did as I told, and never waived from the directions I was given. For me, the results were immediate and dramatic.  It was a good thing I had my psychologist I could talk to, because I had to  adjust to  a body that was changing  fast,  as it was being noticed by everyone around me.   Re-Puberty as I called it.

Never did I offer old or un-needed hormones to someone else. They were always destroyed.

I never thought that someone who had their first inklings of being transsexual, at any age, who then would go out and immediately have breast implants, was a very good idea. I knew one individual who did this and she was very sorry later.  She wasn't mentally ready for the reactions she received.

There are also the unscrupulous charlatan type quacks, over seas and across our boarders, that will offer all sorts of nefarious drug resources and operations that offer a quick result. Most often with  horrifying consequences.  I have seen some SRS operations that produced ghastly, grisly mutilated looking genitalia, that were done in foreign nations, as well as a few that were done here in the USA as well.

You must do research and get the history/results of any one who offers SRS surgery.  Same thing applies to plastic surgeons. Also look for any legal action that may have been  filed against them. There are some who continue to practice, who have had suits filed against them because of their incompetence.  Stay away from these individuals.

It has been  written about before, and will be hammered on again...do not self administer or  use drugs that have not been  prescribed for you by a qualified physician.  'Nuff said for now.

There are some things that bear repeating, often. This subject is one of them.

I'll have more to post on this later.

Very very good advice.  I have been through years of counseling, and just completed full blood chemistry, physical, stress tests etc. before seeing an endocronologist on January 21st.

Not something to take lightly at all.

HI
Sound Advice
If you cannot take the professional advice forget it. There is extreme risk, your liver will be one of the first organs damaged by incorrect drug administration, you don't live without a liver.
If an offer sounds too goood, it is.

Thanks for the advice
