I found this on clearance the other day and decided to try it.

At first I thought it did nothing, the test patch showed no results...I did the entire beard area for 8 minutes....saw no difference, reappllied for another 5.

Still I only saw a touch of lightening, so, oh well, showered and shaved. I found that shaving took way less time and effort and was extremely smooth. I lotioned and went on my way...later in the day I realized my shadow was almost non exixstent...and my face was extremely smooth. Usually after 6-8 hours I see a little shadow and feel stubble...this never happened. I was extremely smooth all day and nite....with just a touch of stubble this morning and a little darkness.

I see this as a perfect method for a special nite out for those that only go occasionaly....I definetly hid ALL shadow with some foundation and powder. And that lasted for a good 16 hours.

I did reapply this morning and Ill update later this evening on what happened or if my skin falls off. :-\

Ok, so tonight its not too great, I got some pimples and now some rash and of course, shadow...as normal.

I think what happened is it shrank the hairs, maybe? and the receded into the folicles yesterday...leaving me shadow and stubble free after shaving...then today they finally broke the surface as normal...

Like I said, my take on this is it would be fantastic on that odd nite that you may go out, but no way will it help any full timers.

Ahh Yes.... another experience in the war with "the shadow"

I once had my SO pluck all my face hairs to be rid of "the shadow"

the pain was horrible and yet "the shadow" returned to haunt me still....

the things we do for beauty.

Ach! facial hair! the bane of us all. I have though about trying the bleach but I have sensitive skin so I chickened out. I'd do almost anything to be rid of it. I tried plucking but... damn that hurts! I stopped at like the third one.

LOL! Thats reminds me of a story I heard about a makeup artist. As a young boy he overheard two girls talking about "plucking their eyelashes" of course they meant eyebrows but being young he took it as they said it and wanted to try it himself. He said he went home and got some tweezers and gripped on the longest one he could find...

I guess it didn't discourage him from doing makeup but, damn!

That would be, like, suck or something....

Another update....tonite I have what appears to be bleeding pimples... ???

very similar to the ones I get from nair...mainly under my nose...

most of my beard area is red and tender and, well, I wont be doing it again.
