Anyone out there have a Polaroid i737 Digital Camera? When the SD card is NOT in my camera, it says the card is "in." When the card is present in the camera, it says locked, EVEN THOUGH THE CARD IS PHYSICALLY UNLOCKED.
Formatting the card doesn't help.
Removing & reseating the card doesn't help.
Removing & replacing the batteries doesn't help.
Using the camera's Reset All function doesn't help.
Anyone have any ideas?
Is it safe to assume you tried a different SD card? It sounds like it isn't card related since the camera says that there is a card in place when it is physically absent, but it is best to get as many symptoms as possible.
Are there any other error messages or indicators? If so what do they relate to?
After that it sounds like it's time for the camera to head for the service center.
I had a sony camera do something similar, though it was on a cd rather than a flash card. I sent it in once and the thing didn't show any problems for the tech. I got it back and everything worked fine with it for about six months. Then it croaked good and proper when I was on vacation (and I really wanted it to work!).
Anyway, it sounds like you hit all the major items that you can check. I don't have a Polaroid so I don't have any specific recommendations for you.
I hope it gets better for you!
