I will...
- Figure out what i want. :-\
- See a therapist (perferable one experience in this sort of thing)
- Get better grades at college (otherwise my parents will hate me).
- Be more social
- Get a new job (as the company i was working for just went bust, it was only part time though).

But i'm so indecisive, cowardly and stupid i probably won't achieve them though :'(

Me too. Don't sell yourself short. You can accomplish anything.

I get healthier; need to get more exercise, drink more water and lose a little weight.

I spend less unproductive time online, and spend more time writing my book, blog, and playing/composing more music.

I continue on the journey of being more outwardly myself, whatever gender that might (or might not) be.

I find a new job I like.

I continue to stand by my SO in his fight with cancer.

I will:
- finish classes,
- start hrt+electro/laser,
- make progress on research,
- figure out plans for going full time,
- get my finances together -- stop blowing $25 for no good reason on bar food (which will be esaier after #1 is done),
- get that tick of the north face of, you know, that one, in all the postcards, and the other one on all those other post cards ... yeah, that one ... and also, that sweet line I saw last June,
- and not be stupid and die while I pursue the previous goal.

2008 was great -- I'm expecting 2009 to be better. :)

Name change...
Possibly hormones... if not at least stop the bleeding
go on at least two multi-day hikes
get my gf back
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Well, I post on this forum for the first time ;) Hi everyone! I'll go find an introductions thread in a mo, if you have one...?

And tomorrow, I'm coming out to my dad. In the manliest of places, a pub. Ironic :)

I don't plan ahead too much, but I hope to set the whole thing in motion this year and be myself :)

There's one thing you can do now though, which is to change that silly boy sign you have on your profile. Embrace the truth!  ;D

Selene, if that picture is you and you haven't started HRT, i am super jealous, i doubt i'd ever look anywhere near as good even with HRT.

Done! soldierjane I wasn't sure if it was appropriate since I am not technically female yet since I haven't had SRS

I must admit the male/female signs on profiles, I have been wondering whether they are for sex or gender...
  •

Jeatyn

oh wow Selene, I saw you before with the male marker, I assumed you were a female to male who hadn't started trying to look more masculine yet. You're gorgeous hun  ;D

Yeah I thought that was your intent, but don't worry: there's a lot of us preops here and we're not less who we are for that pesky fact ;)
Welcome to the forum by the way, and congratulations on finding yourself :)

Really!? I'm flattered...I dunno I always think my nose, and chin are a dead give away. Thanks soldierjane I'm enjoying the forum and its info.

Really, you look pretty much perfect to me, i know for a fact that i will probably need to have a rhinoplasty if i transition, my nose is just to big and ugly to be feminine, even then it probably wouldn't help, and i just have too many things i dislike about myself to care to list. :'(

We all feel that way hon, even those we deem "perfect" have hangups about their appearance

Selene,

Personally I think you, Gracie, and Starbuck are all spies for the Bios.  You 'girls' can't be TS.  All of you are simple just too pretty to be any thing but GG.  And I mean that is the nicest way.  8)
