After FFS, later in life

So, I am 22, and planning FFS over the summer.

What can I expect in 10 years?  How about 20?  40?

People age, and I expect to as well.  Will I start to look like a goof in 20 years and need to get a "rejuvenating" FFS?  Does anyone have any experience with something like this, or know anything about it?

I am quite curious.

Please let me know.

For the love of god... I thought you were a cisgendered female.

What makes you think you'll even make it to 62?

Masterful makeup and good lighting?

I will take that as a compliment however.  Actually, can you define cisgender, I feel like I may have the wrong idea about that word.  Not sure if I know what it means exactly.

I'm going to make it to 100.  I am going to be climbing and active as all hell.  Nothing is going to stop me.  Ok.  Maybe not, but I would love to think that I will make it to at least 70.

Cisgender=bio; yes, it was a compliment, and it was fully meant. I still can't believe you're not... and god, why mess with that with FFS? Ouch.

The feminizing surgical procedures performed on you should give you a more female like appearance.  I can't tell a lot but it looks from your picture you really don't need much.

Whatever you feel you need and choose to have done, once completed and healed you will age pretty much like anyone in your family.  When you reach 40 or 50 or whatever you may feel the need to have rejuvenating cosmetic surgery but maybe not.  I'm 58 and when I had FFS last June most of it was rejuvenating.  Most who saw my avatar thought I was crazy to have FFS but those who know me in real life said it really made a differerence.

FFS is very personal.  If you feel you need it, do a lot of research and make sure you have the maximum amount of comfort about having the surgery.  Even the best surgeons have bad results.  A good start is virtual FFS.  Alexandra is pretty knowledgable about what can and can't be done.  I used her and took the virtual photos to my doctor and asked how reasonable it would be for him to produce these results.  Of course you have to know who is FOS and who is not.

Identify your male markers and decide to what degree they bother you.  Then take that and use it as your starting point.  From there, just build on your what you learn.

At least from what I've seen, every person that started hormones at 21 or earlier eventually passed.  Some can immediately, some took a few years.  Often, after 10 years or more I can't even tell they were trans if I scrutinize their picture.  I'm sure there are exceptions out there though.

I'd like FFS myself even though I pass, simply to get on with my life and have peace of mind for once.  Even though it's sort of a vain desire, I would like to from "perceived as a girl" to "perceived as a cute or attractive girl".

I once used a photoshop-like tool to approximate FFS on the areas I think I need it most, and I really liked the results.  I scarily looked just like my sisters (& mom when she was this age).   :D

Hi Valerie.  You look wonderful, but decisions about you need to be made by you.  Even though many offer an opinion, only you know what makes you haapy, so ultimately, follow your heart. (you do look lovely, but we can all improve)

To the older person who has FFS, usually a face lift, neck lift, and brow lift are done.

These are more rejuvenating procedures rather than strictly FFS related.  I had them done to me.

To someone who is much younger, such as yourself, you probably would not need those.

I did ask Dr. Zukowski about the expiration date on my face and he said he would take about ten years off my face (which was true), but skin and gravity continue to work against us.  This is just life.  In a certain respect all you are doing is white washing rotten wood.  It looks pretty for a spell, but nothing stops it from deteriorating.

You can expect to keep your youthful feminine good looks for quite a time provided you take good care of your skin.  There are three rules of skin care, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!  Use a high quality, high SPF skin protection and you will find your skin will remain resilient for quite a long time.
