Niaming of scarfs

Hi All
My sister in law , to whom i came out to as i did the rest of the family, has given me a two gorgeous "throws" one is kasmir wool the other silk. Both from her holiday in Turkey. - What are they called? Pashmires? How do you wear them? They are gorgeous!

I asked her to dinner.
"Only if you cook, our at a resturant and you need to wear one. I'm cool full time TG on E but how do I wear a thingy, ( not a thongy!)
