As was the case last year I've again been asked to speak to the Women's Studies Class at Queens University.  This year the class is much larger - 150 first year students. The vent takes place on Monday, March 2nd.

I really enjoy it and the interaction and questions the students have, and I'm really honored that the university feels it is important that the class be exposed to all the issues faced by women from many different backgrounds.

My sincere congratulations!  I hope that word of mouth from your last talk attracts an audience that leaves your hosts shaking their heads in amazement!

I have no doubt you'll do well!

Thanks Karen.

I'm always a little nervous at these things but that soon changes as the questions start coming :)

Way to go, Steph.   You are a great spokeswoman.

Sounds like fun.
I've never addressed 150 students, but I have addressed classes of 25 students 6 times.
Does that count?

Our local college has a speech and communication department and they have a program in MTF voice feminization.
Partly as practice, partly as education the clients speak before various college classes.
Some of the classes are on speech disorders, some are on counseling.
All the presentations have been well received.

We have another Monday morning.
