Mmmmm

I'm kind of lucky in so much i can afford any of the named surgeons and brassard was top of my list lately but its hard when you read these.

All surgeons have bad results there are many factors and its major surgery.

Best to do your research though and seek results thats for darn sure.

That's the thing.  The corpus spongiosum has to be removed as much as possible during SRS; otherwise it will swell up with blood during sexual excitement, and the end result is what this poor lady is experiencing.  What a pity!

Considering that this is a recent review, I am actually kind of surprised to read that Dr. Brassard performed her surgery, but like they say, it happens to the best of the best.

One thing to keep in mind is that complications after SRS can happen to anyone regardless of which surgeon you choose.  You just don't hear about them that much on forums such as Susan's.

Thats one of the problems with reviews.  To hold any water they need to signed so that they can be independently verified.  I know of a couple of folks who's results with Brassard have been less than perfect but as Tink said everyone has a bad day.  My results were great and I've written about my experience in my Blog so if you want some info you can read my blog here or contact me.

Just keep in mind that GRS is "MAJOR" surgery, and results will vary from person to person, everyone reacts, and heals differently.

For myself for example... I decided to start taking short cuts with my after care and I paid the price by developing a rather nasty post-op infection requiring a trip to emergency, jeopardizing everything I had worked for.  You don't always hear about those things in reviews.
