When I was 21 I had been secretly dressing in women's clothes for some years already and I harbored suspicions that I was gay because of it. It turned out that it was far from the truth and I finally realized it was just a part of me. One thing I've learned over the years, though, is that I wasn't able to ever stop doing it for any length of time. I just HAD to do it.
I think I had to because it was the only way I had to express myself. So if you get the feeling that you can stop if only you get rid of all your stuff and quit thinking about it, well, chances are you'll be wrong.
