I've been lingering here for a couple months now and figure that it's about time that I said "hi"!  Hi!  I came here (in part) because I am (to put myself in a box) a feminine male-bodied androgyne and I like to read what other gender deviants have to say.

I've always been a bit gender-deviant, more so than most.  When I was younger, I always, without questioning, imagined myself growing up to look and act like my mother.  I didn't think too much about it until I had a sexual psychology course my first year of college.  That was a mind-trip!  Since then, I've let myself become more feminine as I felt the need.  I'm dating a wonderful, supportive person who thinks that it's really cool to have a boyfriend that's "really a girl" (as she puts it).

Anyways, that's me.  I'm probably going to be around for a while.

 :) Right on Burgundy,
I never wanted to look like my mom, But I often wanted to look like the women I saw in various magazines. I was on a Bridget Nelson trip for quite awhile. Some of my friends noticed the resemblance.
Nice to meet you and welcome  :icon_wave:

Hi
Never wanted to look like my Mum. She wanted a son and not me, but I love her ( she died in December, no probs :)).
I've always someone could accidentially identify me as Elle, take me back home and transform me.

Oh I've just seen a pig fly past the window!

LoL

Every time I see this thread title, I imagine a thick-necked guy in a pinstripe suit saying, "That's a neat little community ya' got there. I'd hate to see anything happen to it, catch my drift?" :P

Anyway, welcome to it. :)

Thank you all for your welcome, and hugs back to you, Paula!

About what I said:  I didn't mean that I wanted to look *just* like my mother; I meant that I imagined myself looking like a woman, not a man (my dad).  My bad.

And much thanks to Alyssa for informing me of how the colour is spelled; I feel super-goofy, but better to find out now...  (The only time I've seen it in writing in the last three years was when a friend had a horrible dye accident and decided to call her hair colour "burghandie" or somesuch.)

I noticed the spelling also, but didn't want to say anything. I just figured you spelled it the way you liked it. No worries. Live, Love and Laugh :eusa_dance: Take care - Virginia
