How do I tell my wife I want to do more in my life to become more of a female.  She lets me dress in the house but not out in public.  I want to go out.  I want breast implants.  I want to buy clothing, shoes bras and and thing to help look more like a lady.

Remember that communication goes two ways.  You need to listen as well as talk.  Emme is right on.  You need to be brutally honest with yourself first.  What do you really want?  What are you willing to give up?  How much is fantasy and how much is necessity?

You want breast implants? So you plan on transitioning? Or are you planning on living as a male... but with breasts?

As others have said, I think you need to sit down and figure out where you're going with all of this before you can tell her anything. And if you're at the point of needing something as permanent, expensive and life-changing as breast implants, she NEEDS to know - not just so you can pursue your desires, but so she understands where HER life is now headed too.

I think the above posters are absolutely right. She has a very valid reason for being involved as this affects her as much as it does you.

Changing your mind on the issue is not a failure btw, just an adjustment. Hope it went/goes well even if its not what you hoped for.

 I havent told my wifed yet. I am working up to it. All I can tell you iswhat I am doing. I am reading everything I can get my hands on and from
BOTH perspectives. The better armed you are the better you will be able to quell the fears she will surely have. You enter a gun fight with a baseball bat.

I do not think I can do whatever I want.

It is cold winter, and young women here wear leggings under miniskirt. I think my legs are sexier than theirs and want to show off mine on Sunday. But, I can't, because I will go out with my kids, and my nephew and niece who are < 10 yr old, not to mention my wife, brother and sister. All adulds know that I am a crossdresser, but there still are something that I can not do.

I once wore a tube top in the last summer with my family in a beach. I felt the aftermath, and no longer wear so bold fashion with my family. When I am with my friends, I freely wear what I want to wear, but not with my family.
