So the other day i (or rather my "republican" alter-ego) got a fundraising appeal from the Prop 8 folks. Their big selling point this time around seems to be that donors names will be kept hidden, as this is not a political campaign. oh, and it is tax deductible.
Seems they don't want to leave the defense of H8 to Jerry Brown or other state officials.
Having overcome "the opposition of virtually every statewide politician and the "political machine" of gay activist campaign workers that came from all across the nation to defeat Prop 8", they want to make sure the desperate gays won't impose gay marriage on california.
