Hello everyone,
my name is abbey and I've been on the process of transitioning for the past few months and I was just referred to this site by a comment on my blog.

THis is a good site with alot of good people with their hearts in the right place. I am sure you will find this place to be a good resourse.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Hi Abbey, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 5500 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hugs and Love,
Janet

Welcome to Susan's, Abbey!

This site is a great resource for information, but also for garnering support through your transition and life in general. I am glad that someone pointed you towards the site, and even more so because you decided to join!

I hope to see more from you!

Hugs,
Jacquelyn

Hello Abbey,
Glad you joined.

If you get time maybe you can share a little more about yourself.
QuoteI've been on the process of transitioning for the past few months
Seeing a therapist? Going out dressed? Growing your hair out? ???

Me, I've been on HRT for a little over a year now.
And I'm so glad I'm transitioning.

Welcome to Susan's,
Jillieann

Sorry It's been some time since I posted, I find it easy to get distracted by things.

I've been seeing a therapist and I've been on hormones for 4 or 5 months.

I'm sort of living part time and kind of gender neutral sometimes. I have yet to change my name officially but I plan on it this summer.
