Father Geoffrey Farrow, the Fresno priest who came out against Prop 8 during Mass and was suspended for following his conscience by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles is still being hounded by the church.

Since he was out of a job, you'd think the church would be satisfied that Farrow would seek employment elsewhere and fade from its PR radar. Think again. Father Geoff applied for a position with the Los Angeles branch of Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice (CLUE) and look at the thuggery of the Church in action.

What, that simply cannot be true. The Church hierarchy is trying to stifle dissent and is quiet about anti-Semitism among its own!!

Given the 2000 year historical record how could anyone even imagine that?

Hard to wrap my mind around?!! Why, I'll guess it is!!

I mean I know about all those myth-slanders that prots and atheists put out about persecutions, burnings, slaughters and so forth, but everyone knows the Church has never been responsible for any killings, maimings, tortures or suppressions ever!

Those are all lies made-up because other religious are just jealous that Jesus gave the keys to St. Peter!!

I recall a conversation where someone was shocked that the CC was involved in political decisions, and someone else replied "The Catholic Church invented politics as far as we know."  Seemed about right to me.
