I'm thinkin my shoulder hurts and how I wish I had money to buy one of those massage chairs.

I'm also thinkin about how to fix some of the messed up parts of the painting I'm doing.

I'm thinkin- Oh look girls gone wild commercial- Oh yeah erm...  never mind.

I don't think I have the ability to sleep anymore.

I'm in the same situation as when I started this thread, stupid 2 hour lecture this morning, no sleep.

I need some sleeping pills or something. They don't require prescription, do they?

My mind is flitting about randomly and illogically even worse than usual...

Maybe your mind is over stimulated? You need to empty is somehow. Alcohol, meditation, calming/relaxing music, staring at the wall ...?? You can get basic over the counter sleeping pills that do work but you get used to them after awhile (apparently). Try winding down earlier in the night, you can't expect your brain to switch off like a light, especially when you've been using it alllll day long! :P

Good sleeping pills need a doctor's prescription for two reasons I guess.  Well I'm sure about the first, they are prone to be habit forming - which is what they call 'addictive' in ads.  Second, lots of sleeping problems are physically based and you should have a check up to make sure there is not a problem that is creating this.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Bleh, I will see a doctor sometime then. Even though doctors loathe me. I'm quite the hypocondriac, to make a massive understatement.

I think this weekend will be my last atempt at sorting my sleeping pattern for myself before I see a doctor.

I now have to think; it's psycological, not physical... to keep sane. :p

I got prescribed sleeping pills for my insomnia but I hate to take them because I sleep for aaaages and then feel groggy and useless when I finally wake up. I only use them as a last resort

I get more done when I'm running on no sleep and 10 cups of coffee  :P

I used to be like that, now they stop working and I don't even use them much, only rarely.

LMAO!!! your avatar then comment on coffee reminded me I made a coffee 15mins ago..... still sitting on the kitchen counter.. it's still good it's still good!!! mmmmm..ah!
hhmm I guess I should add something more substantial.
Maybe it's common to suffer insomina during teens / late teens. I had it and a lot of my friends had it at that time. I guess it can be a stressful time for most.

oh man I hate doing that! My trouble is usually making a coffee, and leaving it to stand for a minute because it's too hot, that minute turns into 20 minutes before I realise.

Also....I'm thinking I should make more coffee, my cup has been empty for a good hour  =o

Hmm, tea is my beverage. :)

But perhaps I shouldn't drink it after, say, 8pm anymore... the caffiene is probably a factor in the insomnia...

I'll drink either tea or coffee, depends when and where it is. Lately it's been coffee. A lot. It's 9:38 pm at the moment, and in the last four hours I've had 2 large ones (not tiny little espresso things :P), both with 2.5 shots of coffee. :icon_caffine: :icon_caffine:

One of the best essays I ever wrote I did overnight when I was high as a kite on caffeine (I think it was something like four triple/quadruple-shot coffees in five hours). Felt absolutely fabulous :icon_caffine: :icon_bumdance-nerd: :icon_weee: :icon_dance:  (though I don't recommend it :eusa_naughty:).

I'm thinking about what I'm going to do this weekend and when I'm going to find time to catch up on reading and study for my mid terms.

Also researching ways to get my brain to relax at night time because I've been have sleeping problems lately :]
