If I was going to NGLTF's Creating Change - and had been invited to deliver a keynote on Prop 8, the Equality Summit and what next - here's what I would have said.

Ron Buckmire and Rafael MandelmanThe Equality Summit Saturday seemed to achieve its primary objective of bringing energized people together to network and build broader coalitions. However, the data presented by researcher David Binder, who also conducted research for Barack Obama, and some of the questions raised at the summit and explored at the California Courage Campaign's "Camp Courage" the next day - in my humble opinion - raised more critical questions than were answered.

This post is basically my notes on a napkin. The much harder work will come after the independent audit of the No on Prop 8 campaign is completed, and combined with the new polling research, the community can start strategizing a clearer way forward - hopefully in multiple public forums.
